Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile Water for Injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is intended for the reconstitution and dilution of lyophilized materials and allows multiple withdrawals from the same vial when proper aseptic technique is maintained.
